CharliTito Ortiz was born in Huntington Beach, California on 23 January 1975. Jacob Christopher Ortiz is his birth name. He lived in Huntington Beach before he moved to Santa Ana. Ortiz is half Mexican of his paternal family. His father was Sam Ortiz and he gave the name Tito. Both his parents were addicts to heroin, which made it difficult for him to grow up. He was involved in groups. He also used cocaine and other substances. He was put in youth halls as a youngster. He was 13 when the divorce of his parents took place. He was a student at Huntington Beach High School where wrestling was his sport. His mother removed him from school when he turned 18. Paul Herrera encouraged Ortiz to keep wrestling and to attend college. He later got married for 5 years to Kristin his first wife. Jenna Jameson was his next wife. The couple had twins.
